Team Spotlight: Cameron Clark

We're excited to introduce Cameron, one of the newest additions to the Elevation team! With a strong background in the beverage industry and a passion for foodservice, she brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our company. Having lived in Denver for over a year, Cameron is ready to dive into a new chapter at Elevation, where a commitment to growth and a dynamic, supportive environment are key. In this Q&A, we learn more about Cameron's journey, her insights on the restaurant industry, and a few fun facts that showcase her adventurous spirit. Welcome to the team, Cameron!

Hi Cameron, to start, tell us what excites you most about your job?

I am excited about all the potential knowledge and opportunities this job and organization can bring. There is so much to learn in this industry and so many people to connect with—whether it’s the end user, dealers, or brands—so I’m thrilled to see everything I can gain from being here.

Tell us a bit about yourself. How did you wind up at Elevation?

I have been in Denver for about a year and a half and was working at a large wholesale/distribution company in the beverage industry. I decided it was time to move on from that company, but I still loved the food and beverage industry. When I came across Elevation while job hunting, I was ecstatic to find a place that values its employees' success while staying within an industry I’m passionate about!

What do you see as the biggest challenges facing the restaurant industry today?

Based on my experience, there is a lot of turnover in the restaurant industry. One challenge I see is maintaining partnerships and building relationships with restaurants, as there are constantly new people coming and going. Consistently following up and showing that you care is crucial in overcoming this challenge.

What do you enjoy most about working at Elevation?

What I enjoy most is the team. In just my first week, everyone has been incredibly welcoming and eager to help with any questions I have. The Elevation team is highly knowledgeable and has gone above and beyond to ensure I have everything I need to succeed in this role.

What are some of your passions outside of work?

I love to travel, and I love solo traveling as well because it makes me go outside my comfort
zone. I love to ski, do water sports, hike and be outdoors, and foster animals. I love to take
photos and design things from my travels and past experiences.

Where did you grow up? Any interesting places you've lived throughout your life?

I grew up in Bismarck, ND but have lived in Spain and around Europe for a few months at a
time. The first time was with friends in hostels and renting out apartments and the second time
was with a host family that I still keep in touch with!

What is your go-to meal? Beverage? Restaurant?

I love all things food, but my go-to meal would either be sushi because I could eat it for
breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or good Thai food takeout.
