You've met our chefs in our first round of Elevation Nation Spotlights, so now it's time to meet more of our team. This week's spotlight is on Jeff Crossley, Vice President/Partner who is based in our Utah office. Jeff's passion for people and the relationships he has formed and continues to form in the industry is unmatched. Take a few minutes to get to know Jeff better.
6 years with Elevation, 26 years as a rep in the industry. I had my own company for 20 years and joined forces with Elevation in 2015. By far my best career move.
Went to work for an equipment/supply dealer in Salt Lake City in the early 90’s and it was fun. Then something else sounded fun so I left and tried that. It wasn’t. Got back in the industry on the rep side and it was fun again, so I stayed. And I am still having fun!
The Utah territory doesn’t have a huge population, but a lot of geography so it is kind of tough to have a niche area. You have to be well versed in all areas/market segments and I enjoy all of them. I really don’t have a favorite market segment, I just love to help our customers succeed.
I am in meetings often and hate to make people wait, so I always try to remember that we have an incredible inside sales team that is always ready to quickly help with quotes and customer service. If you haven’t worked with them yet - give them a shot! We also have a warranty service request link on our website to help place warranty service calls that is simple and effective.
That’s easy. The people. Customers, the Elevation team and our manufacturers. I truly value the relationships I have built over the years and have made some lifelong friends.
Nothing beats a good cheeseburger!
I am lucky. My wife works for an airline so I have already been to most of the places I have always wanted to see. There are still many places left, but I would like to see Iceland next. I would love to see places in Asia, but being 6’5” I have a hard time getting excited about the plane ride!
I saw a quote at a recent factory sales meeting I attended that really struck me. I do not know who to give credit to for the quote, but it certainly makes a lot of sense considering the state of the world today:
Today you could be standing next to someone who is trying their best not to fall apart, so whatever you do today, do it with kindness in your heart.
Now that we've told you a little bit about Jeff, we invite you to tell us more about yourself. Specifically, what type of content would you like to receive from Elevation? Let us know by clicking below!
