This month's Team Spotlight highlights our newest team member of Elevation® Reps, Denise Oesterle. Denise is one of our Account Managers who will be specializing in tabletops. Learn a little more about her and help us welcome her to the team!
I joined in April, 2022. I am extremely excited to be part of the team!
How did you get started in the foodservice industry?
I started working in a restaurant when I was 15 years old and have remained in the industry for 25 years. My focus has always been on the front of the house where I have had positions as a server, bartender, host, assistant manager, banquet manager, and F&B manager.
In addition to serving customers at restaurants, I ran a lunch program at my son’s Catholic School for three years. I joined United Restaurant Supply in 2003 as an outside sales representative. 19 years later, I am grateful for the success I had and the relationships that I built.
In the past, I sold everything a restaurant needed, including the initial start-up packages. I focused on private clubs, resorts, hospitals, and independently owned restaurants. I really enjoyed working with one account specifically, Urban Egg. Over the years we worked together to develop their needs for equipment, china, glassware, small wares, and furniture. It was a joy helping them and watching them become so successful.

I love building relationships with my customers.
I love all types of food. My Mom was Italian. So, I am very much a fan of all Italian food. Pasta, Italian sausage sandwiches with fried peppers . . .
