Team Spotlight: Andrew Carragher

Our Team Spotlight this month features the newest team member of Elevation® Reps, Andrew Carragher, part of the Inside Sales team. Learn a little more about him below and help us welcome Andrew to the team!

How long have you been with Elevation Reps?

I just started at the beginning of March, 2022.

How did you get started in the foodservice industry?

I got started in this industry working behind the bar at a cigar lounge in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. I eventually started managing the bar until Covid-19 hit. After that, I started working on the rep side of the industry.

Do you do sales for a specific niche area? If so, what do you like best about that part of the industry?

While I don’t have a specialized area at the moment, a lot of my knowledge is centered around beverage and its related equipment. My favorite thing about the beverage industry is the art of making drinks. Much like food, the possibilities are endless.

What’s one thing clients do not realize about your job that is important to provide them with the best service?

There is no such thing as too much information. The more I know about you and your goals, the more I can help.

What’s your favorite part of your job?

My favorite thing about this industry is all the people who make it work. I have always loved meeting and befriending new people. Thankfully, this industry has no shortage of that.

Do you have a favorite food or beverage?

My favorite food is Chicken Pot Pie. My favorite drink is an Old Fashioned.

Tell us one place you’ve always wanted to go to, but haven’t made it there yet.

I have always wanted to see the Alaskan wilderness.

What’s your favorite saying/mantra/inspirational quote you’d like to share?

“An Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence” – Carl Sagan
